Medieval festival “Fiesta Medieval 2018” in Ibiza Town
May 10 to May 13, 2018 – Ibiza, Dalt Villa
It’s that time of year again: as every year, the Medieval Festival takes place on the second weekend in May within the fortress walls of Dalt Villa in Ibiza Town.
With this colorful and cheerful hustle and bustle, the city celebrates its nomination as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
During the four days of festivities, you will encounter belly dancers, jugglers and knights in the alleyways, some on horseback, who also engage in sword fights.
There are also numerous stalls selling handicrafts.
Food and drink are also catered for: there is plenty of hearty food and strong drinks in keeping with the festival’s motto, as well as many sweet temptations.
The festival begins on May 10 at 6 p.m. with a grand opening ceremony and ends on the evening of May 13.
