Last night (07.10.2018) a gala was held at Lío Ibiza in aid of the Elena Torres Association for Cancer Research.
The Elena Torres Association, founded in 2015 by Alberto Torres and his wife Mari Carmen Gutiérrez, owners of the 5-star Hotel Aguas de Ibiza in Santa Eularia des Riu, are supporting the fight against cancer with this initiative, which their daughter Elena lost in 2012.
The solidarity gala took place last night at the luxury restaurant Lío Ibiza, which belongs to the Pacha Group.
As part of its social program, the Pacha Group regularly supports such events in order to provide financial support to this and other associations.
The aim of the Elena Torres Association is to expand, raise awareness and promote research into the early detection of cancer on the Balearic Islands.
Only through financial support can the expansion of (free) clinical testing procedures and the purchase of cancer screening equipment be accelerated.
By attending yesterday’s gala, all guests were able to make an important and social contribution to this certainly unique evening with the famous cabaret with spectacular and breathtaking performances by actors, acrobats, dancers and singers.
Additional funds were raised through the sale of raffle tickets.
